At casita2ndhome, our mission is to help you build the Casita of your dreams. Thanks to the new affordable housing law that was implemented earlier this year, you can now build your ADU on your own property. Create a new space for your family and create a second home on a single property.

We offer comprehensive advice, from choosing the right model to handing over the keys to your new Casita, ensuring a successful and stress-free experience for all our clients.

Initial Consultation and Goals

The first step is to schedule a free consultation with us so we can learn more about your goals for the project and answer any questions you have.

Property Evaluation and Market Analysis

Once we’ve determined that your property is eligible for an ADU, we’ll schedule a Property Evaluation where we will have the exactly measurements and also the feasibility of the project. Also we’ll conduct a market analysis to help you determine the rental value of the unit.

Detailed ADU Bid

When the design is complete, we'll provide you with a detailed and transparent bid that will outline all project costs, from materials to labor, so you'll know exactly what to expect before we begin any work.

Custom ADU Designs

After we’ve determined the goals for your project and the best location for the ADU, we’ll start working on the design. We’ll create a custom floor plan that meets all of your needs and takes advantage of the available space on your property.

Site Permits and Construction

We handle the entire ADU construction process, from permits to building, working closely with you to ensure your satisfaction at every stage.

Congratulations!

After construction is complete, we'll conduct a final walk-through of the unit with you to ensure that everything meets your expectations. We'll give you the Occupancy Permit (OP) and also take care of any final punch list items.
